Please don't jump to conclusions before clicking away... This is a serious question.
Do you or someone you know have someone in their household between the ages of 19-25 that were doing well with holding down a job, paying bills, active life etc like interested in video games, bowling anything..... Then one day, within the last year or so, became more or less manic depressive? Unable to get out of their own head? Constantly talking about themselves and ghostly pains. Not able to work, gets paranoid of old past times like gaming etc and purely focused on their "pains" with no interest or capability to even think like a normal person anymore?
Is this happening allot out there but as most families would do, just deal with it? Obviously if your still reading I could admit this has affected by family, BUT ALSO in my Career. All early 20s kids are fucked up. I'm just wondering if there's an underlying reason for NOT being able to find employees that could be tied to a possible Nationwide issue regarding our next generation of adults.
Input needed, direction requested. Probably wrong sub but honestly I'm here more than anywhere else.
Anybody else have anyone in their circle that has a young adult suddenly have mental issues? Is this happening to everyone else and nobody is putting this together yet?
Honest HELP Needed. And in my case I'm talking about a non poked person. No jabby.
Thanks for taking the time....
Carry On!!!
I work with that age group, testing them for a certification to work in Healthcare. They can be a sad group. Many cannot read an analog clock, don't know their right from their left, poor to no reading comprehension, cannot write in cursive, cry during the test, cannot add correctly, cannot record basic measurements, do not know the difference between pulse and respirations ... it goes on and on. I feel for them, as somehow these very basic things have not been taught to them.
Yes! You are absolutely right. My college friend teaches at an inner city high school. We now graduate 18 year olds who have been passed from grade to grade (no child left behind) who cannot read, write or do any math. I’m not talking about just a couple of kids. I’m talking about hundreds....as this has been going on for 20 years with no statistics given to public. She is told to give them answers on the tests. Multiply this across the country and we now a whole generation of degenerates.
I also noticed that they do not understand that the difference between right and left is important. Exercising the right arm rather than the left arm is an important distinction and when i see them trying to work it out, they always just shrug and do whatever. Same thing with the clock. The other thing is that all of the instructions for taking this certification are online, word for word. So then we are back to lack of comprehension. It's just sad, I do feel sorry for them bc some of them do want to succeed.
I went out with a Gen Z’er briefly and had to read the analog clock in my house for her every time.
That's because the schools have been indoctrination centers for so many years...neglecting education for brainwashing. It is pretty sad.
