I defeated a demon Christmas night after baptizing my brother. I'm ready for anything now, I've never felt the Holy Spirit move like this through my body. I thought I was ready, now I know I'm truly ready. Let's go! If God is with us, who can be against us?
My little brother traveled cross country to my house for Christmas with his new young family. Him and his wife plagued with sickness the whole time. Through the artic storm and sickness, they pressed on and made it to my home. My wife and I took care of their baby while we helped nurse them back to health. We did not come from a Christian household, we were raised by sex, drugs, and rock n roll culture so devil horns and Satanic music was our normal. I have recently (the past 5 years) turned to Christ and saved myself through Jesus. I told the story of Jesus and Biblical people who I looked up to, mainly Joseph. He said that he wanted to be Baptized, (I had never Baptized anyone, but God put it on my heart to do it) so I along with both our wives went out to my hot tub and I Baptized him. The moment he was reborn, things began to knock over in my garage where my hot tub is at. The Holy Spirit engulfed all of us in that moment and it was pure love. My brother and I both confirmed that we had to go to our abusive father's house and wage spiritual warfare on the demon that has obsessed us our whole lives. We prayed and prayed on his doorstep for an hour straight both of us holding a Bible that our grandmother gave us. Neither of us have been in contact with this man for a year or so, he was always just very mean and physically abusive. I believe that demon still resides over in that home, but he has a legion of angels waging war on him. That demon was obsessing my brother and his family, God gave me the faith to help him defeat it. I've got a graduate education, veteran for a foreign war, and many other accomplishments, but that was the only time I have ever felt like I've made a real difference in someone's life. For context we are both young adults and many more will be saved before we're done. I'm still learning, but the Holy Spirit showed me the potential, so I will be waging spiritual war in my community.
This was the best random comment I've read all year. God is awesome, Jesus/Yeshua is awesome, you and your brother are awesome, and I just now feel in general all-around awesomer for reading about your experience.
We are going to get through this, people - think about how many spiritual awakening you have heard of (or experienced yourself) over the last six years... God isn't doing this to us for nothing, folks, He is up to something!
This was the most significant event to happen in my life, I feel like I can conquer the whole world for His Glory. Literally all fear has been washed from my body, I'm ready for spiritual war and I've seen real war before and was terrified the whole time. All anger, hatred, and fear has left my body. I no longer have any doubts, we're going to win because God wins!
It was a life altering event, to try and describe it, it was the exact opposite of trauma. It actually healed both my brother's and my trauma that we've been carrying for years.

Wow, thanks for sharing, what a beautiful Christmas gift!
It was amazing!
Can you tell me how to do a baptism ? Me not my wife are baptized.
I watched a YouTube video, you have to have a witness and publicly profess your faith in Jesus.
What happened on Christmas?
He played some World of Warcraft.
Isn't that the thing nerds, retards, and fat kids played 20 years ago?
Hey, don't insult Henry Cavill and Vin Diesel like that.
Videogames rot your brain, I didn't downvote you btw.
Ready to have God do his work!
I experienced the physical power of Hod one time (long story) but I can attest to the fact that God is real and powerful!
Once I experienced it all doubt left my soul, my faith has been solidified and I now feel invincible in the name of Christ.
…If God is with us, who can be against us!
;)
The Glory belongs to Him alone
