It definitely reaffirms slavery. Correct, It also shows that The Commerce Clause gives Congress the power to regulate commerce among the states and with foreign countries. It is found in Article I, Section 8 of the United States Constitution and reads as follows: "The Congress shall have power ... To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes."
And yet, instead of Blocking Slavery as in blocking the selling of Slaves between states, they made the 13th Amendment and made Slavery into a thing that only Govt is allowed to practice....
Lincoln didn't even end slavery, the emancipation proclamation was strictly to hurt the confederacy. Center states that were not the southern democrat states were allowed to keep slavery. Lincoln said himself, if slavery would keep the union together he would keep it even though he personally finds it gross. You forget that?
Yup, to Lincoln it was all about saving the Union as it existed before some specific point....
The U.S. Army Conquered the Southern States and Subjugated them, and fully ended our wonderful Republics in the process, but they saved Nothing, as the Union was never in peril....
The Southern States left, ok, so what???
The Union was simply smaller, with less States, and less people in Congress, but still in Tact, so it didn't cease to exist....
The Only Way to destroy the Union, is for ALL States to Secede, it is then destroyed....
As long as there are still Two States in it, it exists, smaller, but whole....
But Lincoln also had the bankers to deal with, and the Rothschilds had been scheming, and even though it had been suggested they send Napoleon to destroy the U.S., they found a quieter way to do it, and Finances were Key to Destroying the U.S., Lincoln knew that was happening, and the ""National Debt"" was Due, so it's no surprise that in Congress, the Northern States demanded that the Richer Southern States pay a Larger Tax than the North....
I wonder how that would play out today, all the Blue DemonRat States demanding that all the Red states pay double Taxes, because the Blue States destroyed their Tax Base, makes me think....
