On the topic of Roe vs Wade:
I approve of the overturning of Roe vs Wade and I will do it again if presented with an opportunity to do so. However, we should not deny the fact that the decision may have a negative effect against the Republican vote by turning many that are on the fence, on who to vote for, against the Republicans just to punish them for the abortion denial. I have gained this information from talking with the local Republican committee and it might have been a factor in our local and state losses too (granted, we are in NY, so it is always a bit of a tough fight here for us...)
I actually agree to an extent. In Michigan they passed a most extreme measure approving abortion on demand and the proposal included it becoming part of the constitution in Michigan. So now the only way to get rid of it is to amend the constitution.
The Republican running for governor (Tudor Dixon) had been made out to be the one who decided abortion rights. The demoncrats did their job well.
Look at what happened in Arizona and tell me abortion played ANY kind of roll compared to blatant all out cheating.
Arizona is a special case with regards to the blatant cheating, making that the #1 factor in comparison to anything else. No one is arguing against that.
