Exactly! Living his life to the fullest. It's ironic that every time he got in his car and did the carefully controlled but still wild stunts he performed, that something could have gone wrong (but never did). Ironically, the snowmobile ended up being a more dangerous activity that his high-speed, high-horsepower stunt driving.
RIP Block. You'll be missed.
Snowmobiling is high-speed high-horsepower driving.
Just on snow.
This is true, and to be fair the snow adds an unpredictability layer, but Ken's racing was so much more "flat-out". Though it is possible that Ken was also going flat-out on his sled, which in any case can be just as dangerous. Still, at face value, you see what he does in his car in "controlled" environments, and it puts you in awe of the risky business he pulls off!
Treating the death of all 'trusted voices within a given demographic' in the last 2-3 years with a healthy degree of skepticism.
I met him several times at the Ojibwe Forest rally in northern Minnesota, he was an awesome guy, kept to himself, not a big talker, but definitely gave the impression of being a real Patriot, even though his brand was controlled by marketing and his business opportunities. I've had beers with Travis Pastrana and I can tell you the dude is based as shit, but plays the game because the game provides for his life. Rally is going to be very tough this year.
Wow, shades of Darrell Ward. Drives trucks on treacherous roads, dies in plane crash. RIP
Loved his videos, RIP
Major bummer. 👎
Ouch
that sucks
Man.
Damn, that's a blow. Wonder what's going to happen to his franchise/legacy?
Hoonigan no more?
