Indeed. There is one thing though: That time Chris Miller praised Pence for his role in “the most complex military operation in history”... I wonder what that operation was?...

I always took it as exactly what's being spoken about here...

He took the fall intentionally.

The reason he isn't targeted is because the left thinks he did it in a righteous manner and they respect him for it.

Yes. Double agents are real. Trump did say the harder thing for Pence to do was to certify iirc.

This was a necessary move along the path to the Great Awakening imo.
