Bet on the Buffalo Bills, all the way to the Super Bowl.
Do you think the NFL will NOT use this opportunity to rig the games to make the Bills the "heros" and to "Win one for the Gipper!" ... except it will be to "Win it for Damar."
Think of the hours and hours of coverage about how the Bills "overcame the ultimate adversity, and fought their way through to show the world they could conquer all."
Just a thought.
Only problem with this logic is that with the entire league 97% vaxxed every team no matter who wins is a ticking time bomb.
Imagine Damar happening in every game on the way to the SB
Honestly, I'm surprised the USA hasn't had more of this. Look at the death toll in Europe.
Read an analysis of that a while ago. Prevailing logic is that American football is not truly a cardiac-intensive game - 10 seconds of intense activity separated by 45-75 seconds between plays. Cardiac issues show up in Soccer, where the players run about 7 miles in a game. Most football players probably don't cover more than a couple hundred yards.
I read something from an NFL insider working in a training room (on this site) when news about Aaron Rogers was blowing up that many trainers and owners were faking shots and later boosters because they feared losing a competitive advantage.
And that’s why they publicly made a big fuss, but quietly faked the shots with the players that didn’t want them.
I never heard how vetted that story was, but assumed that’s why they weren’t dropping like flies every week.
Interesting.
Interesting. Could be I suppose.
