Why is she attacking Republicans? Dems are the minority and any of them could always vote for McCarthy. Frankly, I think Speaker should require a 2/3rds majority. That would force consensus over simple majority partisan bullying.

That would only work if they also didn't get paid until they formed a consensus. At least for the new members not getting their side pay yet.
