This is done first by mouth to mouth then 5-10 compressions of the chest cavity to then force the newly oxygenated blood into the body & CO2 out. By repeating this over & over, the body doesn’t stay starved of O2 for the entire length of time the person can’t self-oxygenate.
Now, if someone is flatelined, are they going to wake up & start dancing after CPR? No, course not. But to say it doesn’t work or help, is absolute nonsense & dangerous at that.
