So my son was just diagnosed. He'll get an MRI soon. He's had a couple bouts of delusion which resolved after a few days, or a few weeks, but have gotten worse. It's similar to watching a dementia patient lose their connection to reality, but accelerated and in a healthy-looking very fit young man. Or maybe like the Flowers for Algernon story. It's a horrible sad thing to see a wonderful young man lose his sanity and start babbling incoherently.
Anyway, I'm torn up inside about it. And dealing with it. I'm asking for help from anons that might know good treatments, from MMS/chlorine dioxide, ivermectin, gut-brain connections, old pre-Rockefeller treatments, that sort of stuff. He's not vaxxed, early 20's, has been high-functioning autistic (never treated with drugs like ritalin/oxycontin) ever since infancy (mmr vaccine?), and otherwise healthy although he's had a cough and stomach issues with his recent weeks of spiralling out of mental control. In a way the diagnosis is a good thing, just because I know what to ask about and possibly get a path forward.
And asking for prayers: I've already seeded the heavens with mine, but more is better. I will be offline for a bit and may not respond quickly, but I'll read all the comments and follow all leads. Thanks, all.
Search b vitamin deficiencies and schizophrenia.
Thank you. Will do.
In 1976 my sister flipped out with strange symptoms...losing touch with reality...VERY odd behaviors.
She was diagnosed with schizophrenia. After being in a couple psych wards we took her to an Orthomolecular Psychatrist and utilized Abram Hoffer's mega-vitamin therapy based on his research. Her schizophrenia was brought under control and she was able to lead a normal life until she died of breast cancer many years later...this may not be what you are dealing with but symptoms are similar....God bless your family...
Thanks; appreciated. Yes, there is a lot of mental illness that clearly can be treated and cured using non-pharmaceutical methods. But it's hard to suss out, and most doctors work like ushers helping you to your assigned med.
I did a bunch of things at once, a number of them on this page, including some pharma, and today he is like normal (thank God!) except missing a few months of memories, traumatized by this to a degree, and not on any meds. I'll put more in the follow-up post.
This is good info to have. Thanks.
Well with orthomolecular Psychiatry there were NO meds even though they were psychiatrists ...just vitamins...I am VERY against the psychotropic drugs used in traditional psychiatry when there are alternative things that are less harmful...and only because we did NOT have good experiences with them...but I respect whatever choices you made...especially if it has proven successful for your son...
I am certainly glad your son is doing well and has recovered from what he went through...treating illness is difficult and it seems like you did well in making choices to help heal your son...God bless your family...
Yeap, I questioned with vit b is the main issue. Many can't absorb it correctly. Any chance he has early greying hair? Another sign
No, no grey hair, at least not yet. Will look into the vitamin b though.
This plus good food plus knowing alt drugs used are key
