Also, Bob Good of Virginia flipped from a No vote to Present, which helped clear the path for McCarthy.

There are no coincidences.

When Gaetz turned the standing vote from dismissing until Monday to going another round (on 1/7) the vote count on that motion was 217 to 217. He then went and told McCarthy and a bunch of members changed there votes to go for round 15.
