I believe there were more Freedom Caucus peeps doing their jobs even though they voted for McCarthy. Optics are important. What is Jim Jordan going to do in the future? He didn't need to be one of the rebels IMHO.
I really hate the word “rebels” This is the same word the MSM used to describe them as sone sort of pariah or disrupters. What they did was request common sense come back to Congress, rather than what Pelosi oversaw which was just so undemocratic. Hopefully there will never be a 4000 page bill with so many unrelated spending and giving congress just a few hours to oversee and debate it. That’s not how democracy is supposed to work. Btw, Mitch McConnell has got off so easily with no criticism in his recent support of the $1.7T in spending. Btw does anyone know what comes after Trillion?? It’s just incredible to me as an Aussie that the National debt in USA is nearly the equivalent to $100,000 for every single person in America. That is truly frightening to the impact on the World economy.
