FTX: Is this what broke up the Brady bunch?
🧐 Research Wanted 🤔
Sorry, I hate Yahoo, but stumbled upon this....(https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/ftx-bankruptcy-documents-show-list-170209957.html)
Right? And now, no wonder he is coming in and out and in and out of retirement over and over again and playing into his 60s.
And Kraft owns the same team he was in until 2020. I am pretty sure there is bigger meaning to all this.
u/SemperSupra are you aware of any comms significance with New England Patritos? Perhaps something crypto of finance related?
If you look at how sports team ownership and symbolic comms works, definitely looks like a op transfer in 1994. Kraft buys the team and suddenly they start winning like crazy and shoot to the top.
More data points:
FTX created May 2019
In 2019, Brady restructured his contract to allow him to enter the free agency the following year.
However, owner Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick were reluctant and preferred to offer the aging player a short-term deal, and so he went to Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Definitely not a coincidence. My guess:
They wanted to "diversify" the people involved in FTX
The Glazer family (who owns Buccaneers) probably was doing a deal to get a cut of the comms/operation.
Incidentally Glazers bought Buccaneers one year after Kraft bought Patriots.
I've never dug on it before, but I can look and see what I find.
Do sports team ownership comms work for other sports too? The Glazer family also own Manchester United Soccer team. They used to be the richest most succesful team in Britain and Europe, but under the Glazers they have become increasingly average. A while back, I remember talk of the Glazers mall empire being in financial distress. Were there any crypto specific comms to suggest the Glazers were invested in FTX?
