BOOM
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY
"The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA’s) Notice To Air Missions (NOTAM) system has failed for the first time in history. The system, critical for relaying essential information to flights, has been out since yesterday evening, and it’s starting to affect services in and out of the USA."

"Cleared Update No. 2 for all stakeholders:
The FAA is still working to fully restore the Notice to Air Missions system following an outage.
While some functions are beginning to come back on line, National Airspace System operations remain limited."

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM

This is huge, notam is critical to flight planning.
Didn't notice that they changed 'notice to airmen', to 'notice to air missions' lol
The one time I don't datefag. ofc
I remember someone mentioning about the q clock running out and someone replied that it doesn't run out, just keeps going.
Is it possible the flight grounding wasn't the 1st BOOM? The FJB docs story might have been the 1st. Speculating... but there seems to be A LOT happening now, being under-reported, that might qualify as BOOMS.
