It's sometimes clear he doesn't believe some of the things he says, e.g. things like there being no deep state cabal. Because he often then describes the actions of said deep state cabal.

Tim is definitely good for us. If he weren't, people like Gaetz wouldn't be there. People always going to be shitty towards centrists though, it's just magnified because of how tribal today's politics have gotten.
