They need you on the smart electric grid to collect the data of your usage. You can't go buying some black market propane when your electric gets cut from your excess carbon usage now can ya?

I also have about 50 large trees from the icepocolypse we had winter before last.
I can use those for heat and cooking in a pinch.

Grill!! Store gas bottles? Coleman 2 burner camp stove with smaller bottles.
We keep extra for storm and power outages put that little camp stove right on top of my electric stove!
PS Or just build an outdoor stove out of cinder blocks and have it ready!

They make corn burner stoves, that you just put corn kernals in. There is a paddle that slowly stirs it, as it burns. It is renewable and burns fairly clean.
Basically a pellet stove.
