Waking friends up by saying climate change is real?
"Worshipping at the feet of St Greta of climate change".
I think that sentence alone should elude to the sarcastic humour. He's agreeing that we need to look after our planet whilst pointing out the obvious.
I get the sarcasm in his statement. But then he follows with, "...I join you in this view. I truly do. Now, what are we to do about this huge problem facing humanity? What can we in Britain do? ...This country is responsible for 2% of global carbon emissions."
There is absolutely no correlation between CO2 and temperature. There MAY be a correlation of 800 years between temperature and rising CO2, but it is nothing that man can influence safely.
I would not be sharing this video with anyone I wished to "red pill" about the falsehoods of anthropomorphic climate change. Millions and millions of people have been brainwashed by this idiocy already, why would I want to add to it?
His speech was, I believe, about the absurdity of wokeness in general.
As for the CO2 debate, I ask them, what produces the oxygen we need to breathe?. Plants and trees.
What do they need? CO2.
What happens to that cycle if we take away the CO2?
And whatever happened to that big ozone hole from decades ago that was going to end civilisation?
I watched it and had a slightly different reaction.
Yes, he says Britain is responsible for 2%. But his argument, I think, is that it's so little in the scheme of things compared to other countries -- like China, for example.
He's trying to help them rearrange their priorities -- have a new perspective.
Climate change IS real, it's just not caused by man.
