And this is why I'm not a fan of Halloween

The only benefit to these holidays is to create fun memories for kids and for hobbyists to make decorations to sell and inspire them.
I don't think we should do away with Halloween, but we should definitely do an audit of exactly what it's teaching our kids through the symbolisms and customs. Toss the crap commercialism, and bring it back to a seasonal reprieve from the realization that every year we have to prepare for a dismal few months of cold, wet, and brown/gray.
Aside from that, the subject matter doesn't matter too much. We can easily put a fresh coat of paint on the holiday without having to scrap the whole thing. The same can be said for every holiday, as well.
I used to get charged up about holiday baking....until my husband developed dementia. He wants christmas cookies at random times. He thought today was Thanksgiving. Ya know what? I can slam out a dozen Christmas cookies in July. Fudge in May. Turkey in Feb. It's funny how a tragedy like stroke/dementia can cleat things up. Heck, last week the 2 yr old got mad that I had no candy in the house. So she found a bucket and a shirt with a ghost on it and declared she was going trick or treating.
My husband has the same tragedy.😔
This artist is one of my favorite illustrators. This piece is about about revealing the true person inside, hence the light from the heart, and not hiding behind a mask.
Masks are an integral part of satanism and deception.
Halloween is becoming less of a thing. No one wants candy laced with fentanyl. Excess sugar is killing us with obesity. It's a garbage holiday.
I agree with the other poster about abandoning holidays. They're all based on lies.

I thought this was another stab at Jamie Lee Curtis. But clearly still goes hand in hand
I never thought about satan and halloween. What the problem is is adults putting their own actions and thought on kids. I loved to dress up and trick or treat. My kids love to dress up and trick or treat. We go around our 'hood, and know everyone. Those we don't know are very nice. Never had problems. The problem is adults that are hijacking the holiday with over the top scary decorations, satanic rituals, sexy costumes, and all that other crap. Make Halloween great (or just basic) again!
Agreed, fren.
