For nearly a year, the massive Western propaganda machine has been manipulating its audience into believing the “Russia’s unprovoked aggression in Ukraine” narrative. The “reporting” can be crudely boiled down to the following: “On February 24, bloodthirsty Kremlin dictator Putin got up on the wrong side of the bed and decided to attack the nascent beacon of freedom and democracy in Kiev.” This is mandatory in virtually all Western mainstream media and any attempt to even think of questioning it results in immediate “cancellation”. Propagandists posing as “pundits” flooded political talk shows with the task of presenting decades of unrelenting NATO expansion as irrelevant to Russia’s reaction.
However, WikiLeaks, an organization the United States has been trying to shut down for well over a decade, including through the horrendous treatment of its founder Julian Assange, published secret cables showing this narrative couldn’t possibly be further from reality. Data indicates that American officials weren’t only aware of the frustration NATO expansion caused in Moscow, but were even directly told it would result in Russia’s response. And while the US often insists that the current crisis is a result of Vladimir Putin’s alleged desire to “rebuild the Russian Empire”, WikiLeaks reveals that even his predecessor Boris Yeltsin, infamous for his suicidal subservience to Washington DC, warned against NATO expansion.
I am curious why people don't realize the Democrats were the party against war and now they are for it. What happened to all the peace hippies that grew older?
Ahhhhhhhhhh Grasshoppa, yes the "Democrats" in ideals were against war but the DEMOCRATS that were in DC were not! Johnson --a Democrat -- escalated the war in Vietnam, Roosevelt -- a Democrat -- put us in WW 2, Truman -- a Democrat -- put us in Korea. It was a Republican that got us out of Vietnam --Nixon -- and we see what the DS did to him! It was Clinton the put us in the Slavic war. After Clinton, they were all the same. It was like Championship Wrestling, Rep and Dems fighting in front of the camera and were drinking buddies behind closed doors. The Democrats in control were always selected and put on the ballot. Any vote was for the "machine" regardless of party!
Well that's sad. All he has to do is read the agreements the US and NATO made to the Warsaw Pact members governments when the Soviet Union broke up. It's all there.
"The substance of these stratagems [for the weakening of the United States so it can be more easily merged into a global government based on the model of collectivism] can be traced to a think-tank study released in 1966 called the Report from Iron Mountain.
Although the origin of the report is highly debated, the document itself hints that it was commissioned by the Department of Defense under Defense Secretary, Robert McNamara and was produced by the Hudson Institute located at the base of Iron Mountain in Croton-on-Hudson, New York.
The Hudson Institute was founded and directed by Herman Kahn, formerly of the Rand Corporation. Both McNamara and Kahn were members of the CFR.
The self-proclaimed purpose of the study was to explore various ways to “stabilize society.” Praiseworthy as that may sound, a reading of the Report soon reveals that the word society is used synonymously with the word government. Furthermore, the word stabilize is used as meaning to preserve and to perpetuate.
It is clear from the start that the nature of **the study was to analyze the different ways a government can perpetuate itself in power, ways to control its citizens and prevent them from rebelling. **

I wish I could convince my husband of this... cognitive dissonance.

Like Obi Wan, our last hope.
A 2005 cable... so this is in reference to Zero Administration's Fostering of the first Ukrainian troubles...
I'm not quite sure of your statement. Can you elaborate more?
Question? Clarification...
Yes, you made an ambiguous statement. Can you clarify what you mean?
