Wow. I learned about quercetin on GAW a while back. I didn’t start taking it until a few months ago because of its antihistamine properties. The only thing I’m allergic to is mountain cedar (this time of yr in TX) that typically gets so bad it turns into sinus infections, bronchitis and/or pneumonia most years. For years I have used antihistamines, decongestants, cough drops, humidifiers and nasal sprays just to barely breath and try to keep things from turning for the worst. No Dr ever recommended quercetin. The pollen count is high this season yet I have not had to take any of the OTC meds after being on quercetin for a couple months. No congestion at all! I am truly amazed and thankful for the things I learn here. This is the easiest winter I have had that I can remember back to my childhood (which was a long time ago since I’m old).
That’s a blessing for you. I’m glad you are having a good allergy season. People that aren’t affected don’t realize how bad they make you feel. I just might have to try it. My allergies get worse by the year. I have a hives condition caused by too much histamine. I’m sure that doesn’t help my allergies. For three years in a row I had a severe ear infection around end of march. I think it was because I worked in a flooded building. (Flood of 99 in NC from a hurricane) i have always been prone to ear infection and bronchitis. I didn’t figure out there was a better way to stay healthy until I started taking herbs and herbal tea daily.
I'm amazed at the amount of folks here from Texas...on Truth Social, also.
I never thought about it before I saw your comment. We should do a thread and people upvote the states or countries they live. Some might not want to say and I get why. I visited Texas several years ago. I loved it. But I’m from the south, listen to country music and am used to roads with trucks. I do believe I saw more trucks in Texas than anywhere else I’ve traveled in the states and Canada (before plandemic).
Neat idea!
