I think he wants it that way. Then he can show who the real culprits are with real evidence.
Yes, he's painted the target on his own back so there must be a plan. Will be interesting to watch how the boomerang is implemented.
It's a pattern. He did it with his HCQ remarks, he did it wih the "classified" raid. He kind of did it with J6 too, he allowed the Pelosi/ Capitol FF, even if he did ruin the timing.
It's all about that boomerang.
