This is most likely simply Republicans voting for their party. Translation, 2020 results likely show Donald Trump as the winner by at least a 10% margin in the state.
People keep trying to save the country. It's lost. Even if the plan happens, these people are just still polar opposites. We can no co-exist.
The simple solution is to get all the good hearted, productive people to just leave. Have them all go to 4 connected states, and just build a barrier around it.
Over time, they will kill themselves with their unsustainable policy. Then the people who left can slowly expand as they decay into anarchy.

I refuse to leave for a couple of reasons. First, I am a proud native son of California who loves this place more than anywhere else; and second, I would feel unwelcome wherever I end up, possibly doubling the number of targets on my back because of the way the rest of the country views Californians.
Only three states border us, not four. And a wall will never be built around California because the rest of the country is dependent on its food production.
I don't think the fight is over in California. You're more than welcome to feel that way though. I'd rather not run away to any place that has been blaming its problems on fleeing Californians.

Take it easy Fren. Take deep breathes. Go for a walk. Start a garden. Chickens? Whatever. My State is bluer than blue and I'm not lost.
