I’ve see a few people who believe meat is the most healthy food to eat. For example the carnivore diet which even goes the complete opposite of what we think about veggies. One thing is for certain, we certainly didn’t eat processed wheat until the industrial revolution, thus, our bodies aren’t used to eating it.
I want real data on the health aspects of meat and fats. Do they really cause high cholesterol? What clogs arteries?
Edit; Any recommended books?
There is no statistical relationship between dietary cholesterol which is destroyed during digestion, and arterial cholesterol which your own body manufactures.
Arteries are clogged by cholesterol that YOU synthesize; this process is a result of poor cardiac health. In general, the cure for high cholesterol is more exercise.
Arteries are clogged by a cholesterol- and sugar-derived matrix if you eat carbs.
Eskimos have virtually nonexistent heart disease and atherosclerosis, since they eat massive amounts of fat and cholesterol but basically zero carbs.
cholesterol is what is used to repair damaged arteries from toxic diets. They lie about why its in your arteries
This is correct, almost exactly what I wrote elsewhere in the thread :)
And while eating the plant based diet they recommended, your brain is starving and hormones are all out of whack. We need fat and cholesterol to be healthy!!
