I’ve see a few people who believe meat is the most healthy food to eat. For example the carnivore diet which even goes the complete opposite of what we think about veggies. One thing is for certain, we certainly didn’t eat processed wheat until the industrial revolution, thus, our bodies aren’t used to eating it.
I want real data on the health aspects of meat and fats. Do they really cause high cholesterol? What clogs arteries?
Edit; Any recommended books?
If you don't mind sharing, tell us specifically what you eat each day, so that we may consider doing it, too.
Hey! Not a problem.
Breakfast:
*3 Eggs *3 (very thick sliced) Bacon, coffee no sugar (there's enough suffering in the world so I kept coffee in the diet kek)
Lunch:
*Approx 0.5- 1.0lb Ribeye
Dinner:
*Approx 0.5- 1.0lb Ribeye
Snack
*Fage 5% full fat yogurt *more bacon *ribeye jerky
Things to consider on this diet, FAT = GOOD and Salt = good. Always get the fattiest meat. If you feel sluggish on this diet eat more fat. Potassium and magnesium the 2 electrolytes you need to ensure you get enough of.
I can't tell you enough how much this diet changed my body/mind for the better. Mental clarity, energy, all amazing anxiety went away, muscle stiffness went away. Eliminated so many bathroom trips too haha. For my brother it SIGNIFICANTLY helped his depression. It's the most "alive" I've seen my brother in years. On this diet I could skip meals and not be hungry to. You always feel satiated. You look at food more as fuel than an experience or treat. It's very simple too Considering you won't need sides, spices, complicated dinners. So while meat is expensive, keep in mind your really not buying anything else either lol.
Edit: AND OMG YOU DO NOT REALIZE HOW BLOATED/INFLAMED YOU'RE BODY IS 24/7 UNTIL YOU TRY THIS OUT! + after this diet you will completely understand why the elite want meat gone.... It's what your body has evolved to eat the last 200k years
Hey and if you try it, try to stick with it for at least 2-3 weeks. If you have any questions please feel free to message me and if you do try it out would love to hear your experience.
Thanks! Will do.
Do you only get grass fed meat?
90% of the time. Otherwise that 10% is when they (local farmers store I goto) are out, or if I'm in a financially tight spot. If you can't afford it, it's okay not to eat grass fed but if you can, get the grass fed since part of the diet is about eliminating all the preservatives and all the other crap in our food.
So switching to just eating meat/fats for 3 weeks is a good test? I thought that puts a person into ketosis and that makes people feel like shit? That’s just what I’ve heard I haven’t done much research on it.
Can’t eat any carbs? Not Even sweet potatoes?
What do you take to get extra potassium and magnesium?
