The vaccination schedule for young children today is INSANE compared to what I got as a baby 64+ years ago (just polio).
Even ignoring the COVID jab, you have to wonder about the ingredients nowadays in the attenuated virus vaccines. They work in principle, but what about all those other ingredients? Some people can't handle them.
I had 5 children at home...four in northern Illinois with a family practice (MD) that did home births and one in Georgia with two midwifes. Yeah, it was pretty cool that your doctor would be sitting in your back yard...relaxing/waiting. They actually send the nurse midwife out first to evaluate where you are at and then the doctor comes closer to delivery time. One time the doctor didn't make it in time (busy night) so the nurse midwife delivered...but they were very experienced and competent.
The biggest drawback is that some states won't allow licensing of mid-wives which impede their ability to have doctor/hospital backup (Georgia). I was VERY blessed to have had this opportunity and all my children got to see their younger siblings born...
I personally think this is the safest way to go...they screen so high risk people would not be able to deliver at home. I had babies in the 80's and the trend since has been that hospitals have set up rooms that are more like home with nurse midwives...but there are certain hospital protocols that must be followed. Hospitals also do water births now. Do your research and you will find all the info you need.
I did the Bradley method of classes to prepare for childbirth and that was very intensive teaching to help prepare me. I feel it was all win-win for everyone involved. I could list MANY things that were not done because I was at home.
Personally I was a very satisfied customer.
Sad to hear that...some babies die in their last week (know someone) and some die during birth...that is why it is important to have hospital/doctor backup so they can transfer if necessary. You're right...shit happens either way...I had a grandson that came out pretty dark and had to be revived by a special team in the hospital after his shoulder got stuck and he had to manually have his shoulder unstuck by the doctor...his umbilical was compressed. What a mess...every healthy birth is a miracle no matter what.
I had a long conversation with a pediatrician family member. Told her no way would I give a baby all of those shots and certainly not at once. She said she can give them one at a time and wait if a parent asks. Still a no. Why does a baby need Hep B? How can a baby get it if not being abused?
I was a teacher. I used to see almost no autistic kids. Now, autism kids are everywhere. They are not wrongly diagnosed. As a teacher, you see the kids amd know. I think either vaccines or ultrasounds to see the unborn baby. Ultrasound and lots of autism both started about the same time.

Have a home birth...it solves LOTS of problems...hospitals are not safe places to have babies...especially more recently...

My friend just had a home birth last year and she said it was a hundred times better than a hospital birth.
My cousin lost an infant daughter in a home birth. Shit can happen either way. No guarantees it will all go well.

No, you can decline all vaccines for the baby in the hospital. You can also decline the medications.
That doesn’t happen. Relax.

HepB, their answer is an accidental needle stick. No joke.
