Hi, thanks for the dedication. Do you know of a good Bible study on YouTube? One you can follow along in your Bible like what you would experience in a church. I can read the Bible over and over but I just can’t relate and that impedes my understanding and learning. I’m not partial to any denomination although I seemed to learn more at on southern Baptist church. Probably more the ministry than the denomination. Trying to avoid large churches with evangelicals.
Try Archaix.com. He is a southern Baptist Texan who studied the bible and all the other writing's of every other religions and holy book. He has very old bibles and history books that he used to data mine. The modern bibles have all been altered...so if you want a bible not tampered with get one from 1800s and the the apocryphal books in. On the internet you can free pdfs of the gospel of Mary Magdalene the gospel of Peter gospel of Judas gospel of Thomas (my favourite) and most importantly Enoch..
The Ethiopian bibles have the book of Enoch in them still. The church of Rome took out 75 books..you can buy them too. Jason from Archaix quotes from the book of jasher all the time so you must be able to get it. Not sure if I have spelt that right.
I would recommend the naked bible on the true translation of some of the books of bible...by Mauro biglino ...he was a translator for the Vatican publishers...he discovered so much they could no longer accept his work.
Be prepared to find that much has been hidden ..as Q says 90% would end up in hospital....long hidden truths are surfacing.
Like Jason after studying to prove the gospels in the Bible right...he stopped being a fervent southern Baptist at 40 as his data could not support it..you might find your views slightly altered. There was a figure in history ..the messages of this individual are echoed down the ages as eternal truths...it doesn't matter what he is called. It only matters when people start killing other people who don't believe in a Christ who died on the cross.
I hope there is not going to be a third world war between Christians and Moslems within a few years .but I fear it could happen.
Ignorance of the real historical facts will aid this war fermented by the freemasons/elite ..the words love one another will be forgotten by the very people who will die supposedly in his name.
I had planned to put out archaixs talk with a Muslim on their understanding of the last days. I will put it below
Wow this is great! I appreciate this fren. Such helpful information.
This is what a close brother recommended when I asked.
I do enjoy John MacArthur a lot for his deep-dive verse analysis. You'll likely not agree with him on every subject, but there is always something to learnn
Secondly, I enjoy Mike Todd from Transformation Church for his use of analogies.
These two would be my recommendations.
Thanks, I’ll do some reading on those
Thanks.
That’s understandable maybe because everyone is raised different especially in the different churches. After all Bible study etc is someone’s interpretation of scripture.
Bible project has some awesome stuff
Haven't watched the Bible Project for yonks, but they are (were) top notch.
Highly recommended.
Thanks
I personally don't have anything but I'm asking my group for some good ones. New testament is definitely an easier to read part of Bible. I personally learn best by reading and then when I have question I post them to my group or an even better place is c/Christianity What's your prayer life like if u don't mind me asking
Honestly it’s not good. I do as best as I can. I never slow down to make time for daily prayer. I was raised Methodist in the 70s. Other than the blessing at supper and the preacher praying in church that was the extent of my experience. I’m still blown away when I hear southern Baptist praying or just blessing the meal. They include everyone in the blessing. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, it’s just different. I think one reason I struggle is I’m not comfortable asking God for things or even relieving health problems. It’s probably because it’s foreign to me. Don’t misunderstand, I have faith. Anything we have faced in our marriage from job loss to health problems I have always believed he will provide. Hope this gives a clear picture. Hard to put in writing.
Thank you for your honesty. Yes that gives a much clearer picture. So I would strongly encourage you to focus on prayer. prayer has had such a huge impact on my life. I started small. 1 min a day at the same time each day. I started by praying on my head but truly praying out loud helped me the most. It helped me focus and not space off as much. Also keep in mind that praying is very awkward at first. U won't always feel like doing it but eventually u will grow to love it. Speak to God as if he is right next to u(cause he is) speak to him as u would a fren, because he is your best friend. be completely honest and open. If ur mad don't hide it. Express it to the father and ask for help. I am here if u have any questions, need to vent. If u ever wanna pray together I'm willing to set something up and we can talk more on zoom or something. No pressure just know I am here how ever I can serve. Keep seeking. The feelings you feel are normal for all new believers. Blessings are ahead my fren. God loves u more than u can ever know. I love u as well. God bless
