Looking at the top map posted, anyone can see that an earthquake in this region is inevitable, even if you didn't know about all the historical ones. See that dark line under the red squiggle? It's a fault line over the junction of two tectonic plates, which are at right angles to another fault just under the red squiggle. Sure, but if you go look at https://ssgeos.org/ and their predicition videos, they're suggesting that it's because of a planetary alignment that is causing some sort of EM disturbance resulting in an earthquake. I think they would agree with you this area is ripe for the earthquake, but the timing they had was not coincidental
