Beautiful set up of fonts/scripture/picture...thank you for posting...it is a beautiful contrast of truth and gives a very simplistic representation of the eternal conflict between God and satan...well done...glad to be on the Lord's side...
When I was at Church yesterday, the sermon was of how we treat one another because of what we are made - Salt of the Earth.
Salt during Christ's time was a bartering commodity and was traded for anything, buying goods, trading including services and if one had a lot of it, they were "wealthy". Believe it or not...the word SALARY COMES FROM THAT WORD-SALT...TMYK!!!
Thank you for that beautiful verse...and the reminder of "whence we come from"!!!!
Also salt was their main preservative, which gave it value...and we all know what a good flavor enhancer salt is...as well as how important salt is for our bodies...amazing how the simple, earthly, non-consequentual things become so important to the Kingdom of God...
Well the use of a simile to compare two items does not mean they are the same only that there is a comparison of characteristics. Jesus is not and never will be a thief...he has created and possesses everything you see...and that is exactly why satan can be accurately called a thief...he has created nothing, owns nothing and only possesses anything by his deceitful, lying ways. The Bible is certainly not inaccurate when describing Satan vs. Jesus...

Hmm, who do we know that live as thieves...
Same app OP, thought John 10:10 this morning was timely
It's beautiful, but just to be fair....
The Lord will come like a thief...
