The 15 minute city is a simplistic idea of recreating villages. But out of cities that have been designed in zones for living, working, industry, etc. for a hundred years, so the infrastructure is not there anymore for "easy walking distance." Watch, as soon as this reality penetrates, people will want to tear down everything and redistribute the zone contents.
I didn't get to see much of the city proper, but what I did see of Charleston, SC was gorgeous. Had a great small-town feel without the skyscrapers I see in NYC.
Bingo. New urbanism is actually heavily influenced by Charleston sc. and it’s not a NWO thing there are strong conservative arguments for returning to traditional urban models like the small town or village instead of endless globohomo sprawl and box stores with shit made in china. We can have real towns in this country again not just a choice between urban high rises and sprawl. Bring back the three story village
Hell, I even saw a bicycle manufacturer with a storefront. It was so cool to see, like a still-existing small-town America I would see in movies. I'd love to go back. Maybe I should see if my friend can get me a job at the place he works at, or stick with security.
