they are interjecting "free advertisements" in their store. Nobody is going to "buy" the ridiculously priced items... but it grabs your attention and gets you to realize that all the prices in this person's poshmark store are negotiable. Not nefarious... If you scroll through their items, you see those types of listings randomly inline with their other listings.
Yeah I just looked through all the categories and they all have listings like this. A lot of things that are clearly just trying to advertise and then I guess a bunch of joke items or something.
Is it every one of these companies? They seem to use them all, how can you deny the snotty nose? And wtf is that description on it "size: huge black". Disgusting mfers
are we at the point that either that these companies are so evil and desperate for money they'll allow human trafficking of children or that they are so incompetent they'd allow a 10 year old to register a sellers account and post a joke of themselves all without being removed?
nah, none of these fucks get any more benefit of the doubt of being stupid anymore
I looked at the site, and a lot of those huge amounts are the total inventory of the sellers. In other words, one item is pictured, but the amount is a total of everything that particular seller has in stock. Click on one, and you see more reasonable individual prices.
Anyone with an account can list about anything on Poshmark for any price they like. If trafficking is going on, management should be policing those suspicious listings. I have bought and sold stuff on Poshmark but may have to stop. I quit shopping at Wayfair when I saw the thinly disguised human trafficking ads.
WTF is that?

Looks more like something a 10 year old roblox addict would do

I'm surprised they still have a technical contact number listed on their Whois entry. https://www.whois.com/whois/poshmark.com

Don’t know how relevant this is, but Poshmark was recently acquired by South Korea’s largest internet company: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20221003006050/en/Naver-to-Acquire-Poshmark/
