Your question is a good one. I would bet most of us have asked this so many times in the past few years. It really has made me question my own sanity. If it is so obvious to me, why isn't it to others. It can't be everyone else, so it must be me who is crazy. The DS was very good at making sure they had control over all the means of information. Not just news, but movies, music, talk shows, etc. If you look up the Milgram experiment, 60% of the test subjects went along with a perceived expert. I think that is what is happening now. People don't know how to think. So they line their views up with the people they see all day, on tv.
