We have tablets and horse paste that we've been saving for a rainy day. Well, my husband and I have both come down with pretty bad head colds and I'm curious about trying ivermectin so I can recuperate over the weekend and be ready for Monday.
Has anyone here ever had a BAD experience with this stuff? Negative reactions or side effects?
tread with caution...
the reason ivermectin works is because it itself is highly toxic. your body stops its natural detoxification process, which occurs through the "flu", "cold", or "bronchitis" (not from a contagion... i.e., viruses) to confront this more highly toxic substance to isolate it and remove it from your body. thus, you are preventing your body's natural detoxification process and those toxins causing your "head cold" remain in your body and will eventually cause other ailments and problems.
so yes, ivermectin helps with the dis- ease that you experience from your body's natural detoxification process, but at what potential cost you might ask yourself. more alcohol helps with an alcohol-induced detoxification "hangover" but is that the right answer or are you just putting more fuel on the fire? likewise, greasy food and sugars help a hangover too but again is that good for you?
Agree with you. We need sauce for MrBig's statement. We have taken Ivermectin every Monday for months with zero bad side effects. I also read somewhere, from an obviously liberal person, that taking HCQ will cause blindness. I have taken it for months once or twice a week just because it makes me feel so much better and I am not blind.
Eye doctor here: to get a prescription for regular use of HCQ, PCPs send to me for an initial screening baseline OCT of the macula. If taken at the right mg/kg/day it’s very little risk. 5 years after being on HCQ every single day is when the patients have to start seeing me yearly for the potential of bullseye maculopathy detected on OCT which is blinding and I have only seen once in 4 years.
Good to know. My HCQ is 200mg and I take it only when I feel something coming on. What is great about it is that whenever I do take it I not only start to feel better I start to feel great. The longest I was on it was one a day for about a week. Thank you again for the info.

i had a negative reaction to the paste, just saying, so proceed with caution. i woke up one morning and it took a significant amount of time for my eyes to adjust to the kitchen light while i was making coffee and breakfast. i didn't make the connection then. however the next morning, it took half the day to get my eyesight straightened out. it was almost like someone was sliding the dimmer on the light switch up and down. i was freaking out a bit and realized that i had just started a round of pea-sized paste treatments a couple days before and that was likely the cause. i did some internet digging and saw that was a potential side-effect. i stopped taking the ivermectin immediately and i'm not saying i won't take it again ever but i'd have to be in really bad shape to risk that again. take this for what it's worth, thought you'd appreciate something outside of "group think" you often get on these boards.
I am just now reading thru this and that does sound scary. Thank u for sharing. Good to know what others experience.
