U.S. fighter jet shoots down object over Canada, Trudeau says
The downing over the Yukon Territory was the second in as many days as North America appeared on higher alert following the China spy balloon. The U.S. offered no new details on the object shot down over Alaska.
LEMME get this right, a US fighter shot something down over CANADA. Am I the only one who has questions about that?
Came to post this. Beaten like a dead horse.
There's a problem? Have you ever heard of the North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD)? It "is a combined organization of the United States and Canada that provides aerospace warning, air sovereignty, and protection for Canada and the continental United States." (Wikipedia)
Yes, Trudeau agreed to the action. That's covered in the many news items about the event.
What are the questions you have about it? I assume its a question of US shooting down something over Canada right or was it some other issue regarding the situation.
It was more about why can't Canada handle this themselves?
