I have 7 siblings. None of us attended kindergarten. I thought it was because we were poor. My mom said it was because she thought kids should have one more year at home to play. 8 kids, all attended college, 5 with advanced degrees. (All in disciplines where we could earn a living, not bullsh*t degrees.) My dad did not make a lot of $$, but what a business man! Not a one of us took out school loans. As each graduated, we repaid dad the cost of tuition, which he put into a separate account for the younger ones' college. This was also before college fees were outrageous. I am thankful to have been raised by conservative Christians with a good work ethic.

They already have the 3 and 4 year olds in the government sponsored pre-K programs provided for "free". My 5 kids attended zero days of any day care or pre-school and it did NOT hurt them a bit...

Moms... stay at home with your kids...raise them yourselves...teach them, love them and protect them...it is your God given responsibility...
