I mean... yes. Heart attacks can also be caused by extreme stress, inactivity, poor diets, substance abuse... all things that the lockdowns DIRECTLY led to.
Yes in the first year I think a lot of people had substance abuse problems.
Even I had some heart issues after all this. I gained some wait and was obviously sedentary during the pandemic because in Canada we weren't even allowed in a coffee shop, let alone a gym. Basically lived at home for over a year. Tried to return to the gym but my heart rate wasn't going down after exercise. It was determined I was okay, but just very out of shape. I aged 5 years at least during covid, and who knows how all this shit will affect my life and body over the remainder of my life.
Seriously, did they not think through the effect of making millions of people stay home for several years, and how this might make them sick and die in 30-40 years? Fucking monsters.
Yes a 14% increase in heart attacks seems pretty reasonable from lockdown alone.
