Are there any supplements anyone else is familiar with that I can take besides this? My low is to low and my high is to high, according to them. I’ve looked at my daily foods and can hardly find anything that has cholesterol in it, other than milk. Could I lose 5-8 lbs, sure..would that make a difference?

The idea that one can just switch from pharma meds to a supplement is false. You have to rethink your whole lifestyle. First, cholesterol levels per dr. is arbitrary. Remember the don’t eat eggs and use margarine instead of butter? All lies. Yes- lose weight. No, eating salad is not the solution. Eat real food. Eggs/bacon- skip toast. Avoid sugar- pop, carbs- chips, crackers, bread. Limit fruit. Fast. Try to go 12 hrs before the next meal. Supper to breakfast no snacks. Sugar and bad oil- margarine, all seed oils (veg. canola, corn, peanut, flax etc) use olive, avocado, butter and yes! lard. Wash fruits and veggies by soaking in 1 tsp/bleach/gallon for 15 min. My horses get parasites from eating off the ground. I suspect our fruits and veggies are where we get ours too. Find out your daily protein requirements and fullfill that. That is your diet. It’s harder than you think if you’ve been eating fillers like pasta/rice. Calories in=calories out. Sit on your ass all day- you’ll be overweight. Last- you need to be outdoors everyday so that the sun can properly cue your hormone production. Don’t worry about any supplements yet. Begin with food or you will be overwhelmed by advice. Realistic goals are the easiest to accomplish, fren! Don’t worry- be happy!
Beef tallow also a good fat. And bacon drippings.
Bacon grease is the best. I love cooking bacon in a cast iron pan and then cooking eggs right afterwards in the grease.
Question...maybe you or someone else could answer this. I see seed oils mentioned a lot, but I've never seen anyone weigh in on sesame oil. Does this count as one of the bad seed oils? It has an even lower smoke point than olive oil, and Asians have been using it for a long time. Supposedly it has a lot of antioxidants. I love using sesame oil, but I do want to cut out bad oils. Does anyone have any insight?
