Yep. I figured my ride (GTI) might be the last car of this type I buy, so I'd better not do something regrettable like the automatic PDK or whatever, no matter how superior/faster it might technically be.

Don't forget electronic emergency brake so you can't stop if you get hacked. That manual transmission with zipper windows is pretty nice.
Yup forgot about the emergency brakes too. Manual windows never break so that's a bonus

Yeah everything runs thru what I think is called a "CAN bus" now.
It makes it easier to hack into the car and take control of it.
