I judge by the same measures I expect to be judged by.
I personally try to follow the Word of God with every dot and iota. If you aren’t convicted the same way then I’ll judge you for it too because I expect to be judged by the same measure. It’s not our job to reduce the Word of God to save people, it is the Father that draws them.
Here is a true statement that should be accepted without question: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and I am the worst of them.
If Paul the apostle is the worst of sinners what does that make you?
Mark 10:17-27 reads
17 As Jesus was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do so that I may inherit eternal life?” 18 But Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not give false testimony, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’” 20 And he said to Him, “Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth.” 21 Looking at him, Jesus showed love to him and said to him, “One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But he [a]was deeply dismayed by [b]these words, and he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.
If you claim to be following every “dot and iota” then let me ask you: have you even followed every one of the Ten Commandments since your youth like this rich young ruler?
Have you sold all you have and given it to the poor?
Remember that if you lie you’re even more of a terrible sinner…
Find me footage of something you think contradicts the word of God at this event and connect it back to scripture. Until you can do that I will struggle to understand how this event was negative to Christianity in any way.
Christian Missionary Alliance. You can find a bit on their official site, like how they allow female pastors over men and believe that homosexuality and gender identity isn’t necessarily a choice. But my Church had issues because they were CMA and since CMA adopted new woke leadership, they threatened to sue us (also unbiblical) and take our building away because our pastor was preaching against evolution. They said that we could teach Creation but not say anything about evolution, and demanded our Pastor publicly apologize for it. We had to split the church because he wanted to preach the Word of God and not be censored. So I’m just very wary of what they’re up to because they are obviously being attacked, they used to be a great denomination.
Matthew 7:1-3
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
The point of this scripture is to warn you not to judge others. At some point in your life you will realize you do not want to be judged in the same way you judge others.
No, the point is to judge by the same measures your expect to be judged by. The text goes on “remove the log from your own eye before attempting to remove the speck from others.” It’s precisely instructions on HOW to judge.
I'm not going to argue (discuss) this with you. You are wrong but keep reading, keep praying for wisdom, and when you are older you will understand. There is only one who is worthy to judge and that is Jesus. And he will be the judge of you, me, and everyone. You will not judge anyone in this life or the next.
2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
11 “No one, sir,” she said.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
All sins are the same in the eyes of the Lord and make you fall short. Pretending LGBT is ok is a false witness, a proud look, and a lying tongue, all abominations to the Lord.
Correct, all sins separate us from God. Who is pretending LGBT is ok? I said, is the sin of LGBT worse than adultery? Be like Jesus, don't condemn the sinner and tell them to leave their life of sin.
So is hating your neighbor... or wishing evil upon your enemies. That's the point of remove the log from your eye before you mention the spec in another's.

Never said it was negative. Said it was suspect because of CMA
Who is CMA? Haven’t read much on them and would like to do some digging.

“ when you are older you will understand”
LMAO thanks for letting me know you can’t even defend your own position and must resort to belittling insults.
Is the sin of LGBT worse that adultery?
John 8:1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. No ones condemning sinners, I’m condemning unrepentant sin. Unrepentant people are not Christians and we shouldn’t pretend they are.
So is hating your neighbor... or wishing evil upon your enemies. That's the point of remove the log from your eye before you mention the spec in another's.
Are you really claiming to be sinless?
False, those aren’t listed as abominations to the Lord.
And no, but I do claim to be blameless of the measures I judge by.
Read your Bible as it is written, not as you please.
