I agree with your concern. We must use discernment and “test the spirits.” I’m not saying that Asbury is a deception, but we should never accept anything at face value.
They were 500 people over capacity last Saturday. Maybe for safety reasons they couldn't let people in until people decided to leave. And people aren't leaving. I wouldn't want to leave either.
The criteria for true vs false revival is pretty straightforward, biblically. Hint: Excitement about the work and power of the Spirit (rather than clear teaching about the life, death, resurrection and exaltation through Christ Jesus the Son of God and forgiveness of sins found in faith in him alone) is a dead ringer this has gone in the wrong direction.
There was a comment on a video that said they drove 800 miles to Asbury and were turned away
I do not want to be rude
but for a second I had the thought, these revivals are not true awakenings
but these people will usher in the Anti Christ
I hope I am wrong

Absolutely! Pray for discernment!
Be careful or you might get some hateful responses. I did and deleted my remarks. I hope you are wrong too but at least you are not blind.
Pray. A friend’s daughter is there - it sounds legit.
