It's a command line. There are many GUI using it.
Assuming the downloading video is legal within your local laws
yt-dlp has mostly replaced it. It's a superior fork.
Mediahuman for Windows also comes highly recommended and much easier to setup (there are torrents floating around too 😉😉)

Also I have been told to erase everything after the "?" & that question mark itself to download vids (ie be rid of trackers).
