(Iatrogenic: induced unintentionally by a physician or surgeon or by medical treatment or diagnostic procedures.) So this 42 year old woman is saying, basically, that she is sick and the doctors there cannot (or will not) help her. The system failed her, but she is worried about her burden on the system so is considering offing herself. She cannot get care, but she is approved to allow the system to kill her so she is considering it. Am I reading this right????? My jaw is on the floor. (If this is legit)
She might be sick but she sounds nuts. They told her she needs psychological help. People have told her to go to another hospital but she says it would interfere with her weekly transfusion/IV.
So infuriating. Of course she can’t/won’t get the care she needs when her problems are iatrogenic. Failure of the system or the system working as intended?
