This was something Ron Paul talks about. We can fund the gov with tariffs and corporate taxes, and eliminate the income tax. Like we used to.

Back in the day government spending was well under 10% of GDP which also helps quite a bit.

And spending should return to being under 10% of GDP. The other 90% is theft straight up.
