If you compare the tech between Synchron and Neuralink, it appears to makes sense. I briefly looked at it. It appears that Synchron is using a minimally invasive procedure and their tech leaves a smaller footprint, is safely removable, doesn't risk dangling wires going where they aren't supposed to, etc. Basically the opposite of Neuralink in all those regards.
