I’m guessing a lot of families with school aged children moved out from 2020 to current. I know for a fact that one way Uhaul rentals were much higher out of Seattle and Portland compared to in inbound (checked these rates myself)

Yes they have either left the state or gone somewhere more affordable like Snohomish County or eastern WA
