California sucks as a vacation destination. The ocean is too cold to swim in. Traffic delays no matter where you're going. Restaurants suck because the lease prices force the restaurants to go cheap on food unless you're really paying out the nose. And the locals are mean and stupid. Also, homeless people everywhere, feces on the street and used needles everywhere. Lived there for eight years and escaped. Will never go back.
