Played Legacy. Surprisingly solid game. Not fantastic by any stretch. Lots of bloat quest and radiant puzzles and tasks to pad playtime. Also excessively diverse for 19th century England. Not obnoxiously woke. At least not beat you over the head with it obnoxious. But it is clearly still present but at least in my opinion to a far smaller degree then one would expect from a major title and major IP.
Honestly, as much as I like video games, there's been a general degradation of society and video games play a part as much as any other form of media. We are in the days of Noah, hearts will become increasingly cold and desensitized.
Still gonna race in Forza and build in Minecraft though, so I clearly haven't been pushed past the precipice
It wasn't Republicans who were calling for banning violent video games. It was democrats. It was friends of Hillary Clinton such as Joe Lieberman, not to mention Hillary herself. I can't name a single Republican who got in front of cameras to trash videogames.
Can you talk about the creation of Sirona Ryan? How early in development was she conceived?
"It has been a high priority throughout the development of Hogwarts Legacy to create a game that is representative and diverse, aligning with our wonderful fan community. Offering players choices in the way they play the game is an element that we have worked on since the start of development. The Character Creator is just one example of that and of course, the large, diverse cast of characters present throughout the game have also had a huge amount of thought from Avalanche and Warner Bros. Games, as well as counsel from outside D&I experts."
Sirona is coded as transgender in her appearances throughout the story. How deep does Hogwarts Legacy delve into her background?
"The best way to get to know any character is to delve into the game."
Can you talk about what Sirona Ryan means for Hogwarts Legacy, particularly in light of J.K. Rowling's vocal opposition to transgender people like her.
"The team felt that it was very important to create a game that is representative of the rich and diverse world of Harry Potter as well as the groups of people who play games, which includes the LGBTQIA+ community. We have a diverse cast of characters that players will encounter throughout the game."
Why wasn't she featured in the promotional marketing?
"As with most of the game, we want players to discover all of the different elements of the story and gameplay as they play through it."
Ultimately, what do you hope will be the reaction to Sirona Ryan?
"The team is very excited about the launch of the game overall and can’t wait for fans and gamers to experience their own Hogwarts Legacy."
The problem was that the game itself was not bad or subversive or too woke or not woke enough or anti-Christian or whatever.
The woke complaints were directed at the creator of the Harry Potter books - she claimed that women were threatened by the tranny movement - and rightly so.
REEEeeeEEE.
Soo, now we are told that we are supposed to 'cancel the game' because the concept MUST be linked to the author of the books. Even as the game creators are only marginally connected to the author of the books, i.e. they have the rights to make the game. I doubt that the author sat down to program, for example. She might get a small royalty. It's all getting so complicated. Play the game already - most of the proceeds will go to the game-makers.

The fact that you had to choose between Witch or Wizard at the end of the characters creator page cracked me up.
"But I'm gender neutral!" Lol
