I just got hit with a MASSIVE tax bill due to new regulations on businesses and attempting to take care of my employees (how dare me!)...
I may wait until the final moment to pay these crooked bastards on the off-chance they are eradicated in the meantime. I really do not want to send this $$$ to these sons of bitches.
I'm not 100% sure, I've only done it a single time in a year but have been told by a friend they did it two times last year, but racked up fees fairly quickly after the first.

File an extension until either the fees get too high, or you cannot hold off any longer. That's my plan this year.
How many times can an extension be filed? I thought it was only once?

I see
If you decide not to pay it, send them a check anyway and sign it go fuck yourself.
The bank will cash that check.
As someone who had an ex-husbands tax debt taken directly out of my bank account, I'm here to tell you that they always win in the end.
Here's a rabbit hole to dive into. I've not done this myself but I've spent many an hour at losthorizons.com.
