Some of the comments are pure cope - believing that Putin blew up "his own" pipelines, so that he could collect insurance. Let's examine for a second:
Malcolm Ritchie said:
it had never been turned "On"......because Germany had already refused to pass it as fit for purpose and had done so repeateadly (sic) over the previous 8 months.
Fit for purpose? The Germans knew it would be fine, that was not the reason. Why did Germany not turn 'on' NS2? Because they were already involved with placing sanctions upon Russia, even before Feb 24. Also Biden didn't want it to go 'on'. Mind you, Trump didn't either. So that leaves a question mark over who was advising Trump, because he is a business man, and business is business.
because his cons, tructors (sic) were demanding payment for work done to date. But he was strapped for cash....but the insurance on it covered "te.rrori,st attacks" (sic) and this was a suitable solution for his "problem"
Putin was not personally paying for NS2. Just saying. In fact, the oil and gas industry is not even directly connected to the Russian budget. Commentor refuses to understand that as soon as gas started pumping the profits would easily cover the cost of construction ... and so much more. In any case, why would the Russian gas company fill the pipeline in readiness for pumping? That does not indicate that the pipeline was not fit for purpose (whatever that means), because it was full of gas, at pressure. The full pipeline also does not indicate that the Russians did not mean to use it. They were ready to turn it on.
My guess is the "suspicious object" has already been removed and deactivated. He's just now saying it to let the US know that he has the sauce. You don't announce that kind of thing before you have it under control, for fear it could still be detonated remotly.
Is that the one that did not go off?
...your cerebrum is currently functioning on a high level....
...NS2 was composed of 4 pipelines, 3 of which was destroyed....
...why was 1 pipeline spared?
...it wasn't....
