Supporting our US boys and girls does not equal supporting the current administration.
I’ve been in this movement since year one. This is a very new direction here and I can’t support it. I was skeptical of Clandestine and his love for Russia and clear disdain for the US and US military from the beginning. There may be some truth to some things he says, but his agenda is becoming clearer.
I’m not trying to cause a split or rift, so if I don’t come back I wish you all the best and leave this advice. Be careful who you believe and follow. Remember you don’t know who any of these accounts really are or what their motives may be.
God Bless.
With all due respect, you seem to be over-reacting and being a bit dramatic. So, some people believe there is more to the Ukraine - Russia conflict than what the msm lets on. That doesn't mean they are prepared to pay obeisance to Russia or Putin. Is this the ONLY thing you see here with which you disagree? Like any community, I'm sure there is lots of disagreement amongst people. If you can't handle that, or if you believe it to be detrimental to you and yours in some way, then perhaps for your own peace of mind, it is better to leave. But that seems rather small minded and if you are old enough to have a child in the military, you have lived long enough to be strong enough to endure disagreement. Just my two cents. Either way, good luck.
I have disagreed with many people here and have never had an issue with the disagreements. I love debate. The big issue for me is the admin and moderators here directing things toward Russia. When is the last time there was a pro US or US military link pinned? Every day there is a new pro Russia link and/or US military undermining post pinned. We aren’t having a neutral debate anymore. We are being shepherded and I can’t go along.
I see. Thank you for explaining further. I haven't noticed that, but I am not as connected to the US Military as you are. Perhaps I would agree if I were. Having said that, the US Military (top brass, not necessarily the soldiers) have not exactly been covering the corps with glory in the past couple of years. So much so that those who would generally be quite likely to join, have refrained. So the admins not pushing more for the US military probably has something to do with that. And that is not to say there aren't good examples of great things the US military is doing, but maybe the admins need to work harder to find those. Examples of woke-ism in our military are rife (and disturbing.) The fact that Putin and Russia have apparently moved toward the more traditional, conservative, even Christian viewpoint is encouraging to many. My personal take is that I love our country and want to see us get back on the right track. But if we've gone off the rails, that behavior should be called out. If another country, one for many decades considered our arch enemy is actually turning and becoming more like we used to be, than that is something to notice and appreciate. Again, just my two cents.
I do like the Christian principles and I imagine I honestly have more in common with a Christian in Russia than a woke liberal here, but this is our country. In my opinion it’s our duty to make things better here and not jump to support the side of another country that has a history of opposing us. Particularly one that has threatened and has the ability to harm our soldiers, family and friends on a massive scale. The video Putin shared not long ago of Russia nuking Florida was a direct threat to all Americans. I don’t forget or take kindly to people threatening those I love.
All the best fren.
I understand, but what has OUR military done to its own? OUR own politicians and our OWN military leaders have done far more to harm the soldiers and underlings than Putin ever has. Threats are just words. But actual actions have consequences.
