Illogical hyperbole. Do you know what topic sliding is and erosion of discussion and contents?

So if someone posts a q post or a tweet about an event or the president and someone jumps in (someones), 10, 25 replies in and has multiple paragraph response reciting verses from the Koran, praise Allah or similar. Is that on topic? Does it make any sense at all in the connection to the post and the response?
